How Hydraid sells multi-channel across 3 markets with SendNet

What is the future of drinks? Hydraid believes it's healthy, nutritious and sustainable. That's why they develop drinks that hydrate you better and provide important nutrients. The Munich-based brand has grown substantially in the European market and sells direct to consumers (D2C), to retail partners (B2B) and through Amazon.
With this expansion, the Hydraid team knew they needed a partner capable of managing a multichannel setup that crosses borders and will keep growing. That's when they found SendNet.
“With SendNet we knew we were in safe hands because of their experience handling multichannel brands like ours,” says Fabian, founder of Hydraid.
Hydraid keeps branding consistent across every channel with custom packaging
Hydraid keeps their unboxing experience exciting by using custom packaging supplied by SendNet. They can easily source packaging by submitting a request in the SendNet App, and the SendNet team takes care of the rest. And when the custom packaging is running low, Hydraid receives an automated reminder to restock, so their parcels always delight their customers.
Hydraid also uses both Amazon's Fulfilled by Merchant (FBM) and Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) schemes. For their FBM orders, Hydraid's Amazon volume syncs automatically with SendNet and is fulfilled alongside their Shopify orders. That means they can use their custom packaging and maintain a consistent brand experience.

Hydraid offers multiple delivery options into Austria
With growing demand for Hydraid, the team decided to expand their D2C business into Austria. With SendNet alongside them, the Hydraid team can offer their Austrian customers multiple shipping options. Giving customers a choice of carriers makes them less likely to abandon their basket and lets them find the option that works best for them.
With SendNet, Hydraid has been able to implement DPD AT and local carrier Post AT. That means Hydraid's customers in Austria get a local delivery experience.
A high-profile partnership with Swiss-Ski means Hydraid sets up logistics into Switzerland
Last year the Hydraid team had a big announcement: they became an official supplier to Swiss-Ski, Switzerland's winter sports federation. A move that will certainly boost sales in Switzerland. But with complex import systems, sending large volumes of product from Germany to Switzerland is no easy task. Fortunately, SendNet had a solution.
Thanks to SendNet's partner network, Hydraid can easily send products across the border. SendNet brings Hydraid's products directly to the Swiss border, after which SendNet partner MeinEinkauf handles the import. The products are then sent to their final destination via local carrier Swiss Post. This process means products still arrive on time and aren't held up at customs.
Batch tracking makes handling expiry dates simple
Because Hydraid is a supplement brand, it's important that the Hydraid team can track expiry dates. With SendNet they have access to comprehensive batch management, which means they can monitor expiry dates and ship batches in the optimal order.
"SendNet's batch tracking makes managing expiry dates simple" - Nico, Head of Operations.
A future of shared growth
What's next for SendNet and Hydraid? Hydraid has already launched a new SKU this year and plans to expand their product range further over the coming months.
“When we launched our new SKU this year, we had enormous volume over the weekend. But thanks to SendNet's fulfillment team, we'd cleared everything by Tuesday. That meant a lot of happy customers for us.” – Nico.
Looking ahead, both teams are looking forward to further, similarly successful launches.
